Semones, Yvonne Dean

Yvonne Dean Semones, 67, of Pulaski, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 5, 2014. She was born in Pulaski, Virginia on October 18, 1947 to the late Boyce Macklin Dean and Mary Kathryn Turney Dean. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley McLaine Dean.

Von is survived by her four sons Chris, Allen Ray, Scott, and Barry Semones; “special daughters” Tracy Semones, Amy Kemp, Cherish Gallimore, and Swana Coffey; 17 grandchildren; siblings, brother Curtis and wife Marianne Dean of Christiansburg, sister Mary Ann Dean and brother Alan Dean of Pulaski, and sister Lynn Dean Dietrich and husband Curtis of Orefield, PA; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 7 from 5-7 PM at Bower Funeral Chapel in Pulaski. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Dan Lawson officiating. A graveside service will take place at 11 AM Saturday at the Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery in Wythe County.
