Semones, Frances Duncan

Frances Duncan Semones, 74, of Parrott, Va., passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2009. The family would like to thank the staff at Carilion Hospice for all their love and devoted care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Semones; parents, Ingle and Nellie Duncan; and brother, George Duncan. Surviving are a daughter, Judy Keene and Roger (Bones); grandchildren, Dustin Keene, Lynn and David Williams, Chris and Lisa Keena; great-grandchildren, Rusty Burleigh, Crystal and Jacob Nester; sister, Rube Long; sister-in-law, Dorothy and Walter Bain; brother-in-law, Jessie and Phyllis Semones; and several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2009, at Parrott Church of God. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2009, at the Parrott Church of God with the Rev. Eddie Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
