Semones, Dorcie Cox

Dorcie Cox Semones, 96 of Salem, VA. passed to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. She passed peacefully at home with family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover K. Semones; son, Howard M. Semones; granddaughter, Carla Grace Semones. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Darell and Lois Semones, Larry and Mary Semones; daughter and son-in-law, Sue McDaniel and Jack; ten grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Maberry Funeral Home with Elder Larry Hollandsworth officiating. The interment will follow in the Big Sand Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
