Secrist, Loretta Edwards
Loretta Joyce Edwards Secrist, 68, of Dublin, died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Pulaski, Va. She was born on June 13, 1946 in Delton, Va. and was the daughter of the late John William Henry Edwards and Ellen Painter Bryson Edwards.
She was also preceded in death by sisters, Nancy Ramsey, Estrue Clark, Marie Hasson, Virginia Clark, Catherine Smith, and Margaret Horton; and brothers, John Edwards, Jack Edwards, and Bruce Edwards.
Surviving are husband, Beatram Secrist; sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Lena Secrist, and Rick and Kim Secrist, three grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Worrell, Carole Carter, and Freda Pugh.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 from the Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, Va. with the Rev. Stacy Cope officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be held Friday from the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service hour.
