Secrist, Beatram Earl (Bud)

Beatram Earl (Bud) Secrist, 68, of Dublin, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in the Ccarilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 9, 1946 and was the son of the late Thelma Long Smoke.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Joyce Edwards Secrist and his sister, Vada Rakes. Mr. Secrist was a machinist with Kollmorgen Corp.Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Lena Secrist, Rick and Kim Secrist; grandchildren, Brittany Secrist, Kassidy Secrist, Keslyn Secrist.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2015, from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Zane Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Sunday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, VA.
