seagle_laura_harmanLaura King Harman Seagle, 91, of Pulaski, died Friday, July 15, 2011 in Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 19, 1919 in Pulaski, and was the daughter of the late William Jordan Harman and Ruth Alpers Harman. She was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Cloyd DuVal Seagle, Jr.; brothers, William Harman and Joseph Harman; and sister, Katherine Halleck. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Cloyd DuVal Seagle, Sr.; one son, Thomas Mason Seagle, II of Pulaski; one daughter, Ruth Seagle Bushong of Dublin; four grandsons, Lee Bushong and Angela Kennedy of Jackson, Wyo., Chris Bushong and his wife, Mary, of Richmond, Va., Jeremiah Seagle and his wife, Jamie, of Roanoke, Va., and T.M. Seagle of Fairfax, Va.; two great-grandchildren, Catheryne Gambill and Madison Ruth Bushong of Richmond, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Seagle Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Thornspring Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time.
