Schwenk, Robert Willard

Robert Willard Schwenk, 66, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at his home in Fairlawn, VA. He was retired from Volvo Trucks with 43 years of service and was a U. S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Porter Lodge #284 Free and Accepted Masons in N. Catasauqua, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Stephen and Margaret Mae Schwenk. Survivors include his wife of 44 years Anne Marie Raber Schwenk; son and daughter-in-law Stephen R. and Kimberly D. Schwenk of Riner, VA; daughter Stacy A. Page of Dublin, VA; son Kevin W. Schwenk and son-in-law Travis G. Handy of Cape Charles, VA; daughter and son-in-law Kelly M. and Andrew Shepherd of Radford, VA; and four grandchildren Madison, Makenzie, Maggie and Wyatt. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford, VA with Jim Grealish officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held Thursday October, 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, VA, with full military honors. In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
