Schiefferle, Clara Kellogg

Clara Kellogg Schiefferle, 88, of Blacksburg and formerly of Erie, Pa., passed away on March 13, 2011. Clara was born on October 1, 1922 to the late George and Vera Kellogg. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Floyd Schiefferle; and three brothers. Surviving are her son, James Schiefferle, of Erie, Pa.; daughter, Nancy Weaver (Michael), of Blacksburg, Va.; grandchildren, Jennifer Burnsed, Patrick and Whitney Weaver, James, Matthew and Grant Schiefferle and Shelby Sellers; and nine greatgrandchildren. Clara had lived in Blacksburg since 1995. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church in Blacksburg and was also a member of the Silver Beacons women’s group at the church. Graveside services were held on March 16, 2011, in Erie, Pa., with the Rev. G.H. Trumbo officiating.
