Scaggs, Harless William

Harless William Scaggs, 76, of Radford, Va., passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2010. He was a United States Army veteran and was retired from VDOT.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Trail Scaggs, of Radford; two sons and daughter-in-law, Richard William and Carrie Scaggs, of Radford, and Glenn Edward Scaggs, of Blacksburg; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Lynn and Roy Duncan, of North Carolina; two sisters, Betty Camper, of Florida, and Genevieve Hatcher, of Floyd County; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. William Ratcliffe officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, March 26, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
