Sayers, Frances A.

Frances A. Sayers, 69, of Draper, died Monday, October 28, 2013, in the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Pulaski. She was born in Wythe County on April 13, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Albert France Sayers and Maude Ring Sayers. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Henry “Buck” Sayers. Ms. Sayers was the Director of Medical Records at Lewis-Gale Hospital and a member of the Draper’s Valley Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her daughter, Robyn Widelo of Draper and several nieces and nephews. Ms. Sayers wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at 7 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Davis officiating. Visiting will be held at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial gifts be made to the Sayers and Community Cemetery for the purchase of live trees to be planted in Ms. Sayers memory.
