Saville, Nelda Long

Nelda Long Saville, 80, of Dublin, died Sunday, March 23, 2008, at New River Valley Medical Center.

She was born in Christiansburg, Va., on May 23, 1927, to the late Hobart and Lena Albert Long. She was also preceded in death by her son, Tony Saville.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gail S. and Rick Hurst, of Fairlawn; son and daughterin-law, Barry and Jane Saville, of Mocksville, N.C.; sister, Greta Davidson, of Dublin; five grandchildren and spouses, Richie and Amanda Hurst, Rob and Margaret Hurst, Brady Hurst and fiance, Rebecca Damron, Beth Saville and fianc�, Kerry, and Ben Saville; and three great-grandchildren, Blair and Grace Hurst, and Tori Estes.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in the Centennial Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Cemetery, McCoy with Mr. Bobby Fuller officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New River Valley Agency on Aging, 141 E. Main Street, Pulaski, Va. 24301.
