Saunders, Sr., David Daniel

David Daniel Saunders, Sr. age 76 of Roanoke passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born September 30, 1938 in Pulaski he was the son of the late Clyde & Hattie Hoback Saunders Finn Stephenson.

His son; Danny Saunders, sister; Frances Witt, brother; Starlin Saunders and former wife; Angelene Duncan Saunders also preceded him in death.

He is survived by his Wife- Penny Saunders – Pearisburg,

Children- Barbara Quesenberry & husband, Dougie Quesenberry – Pulaski Debbie Melton & husband, C.A. Melton – Dublin Tammy & husband, John Warden – Pulaski Tony & wife, Shelia Saunders – Pulaski

Numerous Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren

Brothers- Jerry Finn – NC Jimmy Finn – NC

Sisters- Dorothy Nunn – Pulaski, Colleen Hancock – Pulaski.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Abundant Life Ministries, Pulaski (3050 Lee Highway-Pulaski) with Pastor Randall Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Church, Pulaski.
