Saunders, Rosemary Montgomery

Rosemary Montgomery Saunders, 61, of Staffordsville passed away to be with the Lord on July 21, 2012. She was born on June 15, 1951, to the late Isaac and Grace Long Conley. Rosemary was a great mother, and a friend to many. Her great love for nature and animals helped her through any hard times of life. She loved her birds, raccoons and deer which occupied her yard. They knew where to come for a meal and a kind word. She is greatly missed, and will always be held in our hearts. We Love You, Mom. She is survived by her husband, Mike Saunders; two daughters, Melinda Dalton of Pearisburg and Susan Conway and husband, Bill, of Ballard, W.Va.; a stepson, Jeremy Saunders; five grandchildren, Makayla Montgomery, Constance Dalton, Robert Martin, Mark I Palmer, and Eric Palmer; and four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Clarence Conley and wife, Carrin, John Conley, Hobart Conley and wife, Linda; two sisters, Elizabeth Brown and husband, Ed, and Virginia Turner. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ballard, Charles, Jim and Bill Conley. No services are scheduled. Condolences may be sent to 103 South Main Street, Pearisburg, VA 24134.
