Saunders, Hester Webb

Hester Webb Saunders, 86, of Copper Hill, passed away Saturday January 21, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fendell M. Saunders.

Survivors include niece, Christeen S. Lewis, Roanoke, Va.; nephew, Sherley Stuart and wife Virginia B., Roanoke, Va.; sisters-in-law, Mabel Lester, Christiansburg, Va., Pauline Young and husband Joseph, Elliston, Va., Viola Claxton Brooklyn, N.Y., Marie Wallace and husband Al, Columbia, S.C., Augustine Saunders, Willis, Va.; brothers-in-law, Eugene Saunders and wife Susie, Bassett, Va., James H. Saunders and wife Lucille, Willis, Va.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday January 25, 2006 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Clinton Crump officiating. Interment will follow at Saunders Cemetery, Willis. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.
