Saul, Susan Powell

Susan Powell Saul, age 64 of Dublin passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born January 2, 1950 in Covington, Virginia she the daughter of Emma Josephine Powell and the late John Powell.

She was a local elementary teacher for over 43 years with the Pulaski County School System. She was a member of the Dublin Baptist Church where she was active in the church choir. She loved her students, friends, family and most importantly, and her grandson, J.D.

She is survived by her
Mother- Emma Josephine Childs Powell – Covington,

Son – John Douglas Saul, Sr. & wife, Lori Beth Saul – Pulaski ,

Grandson- John Douglas Saul, Jr. – Pulaski,

Sister-and Brother-law- Rosemary & Charlie Simmons – Covington,

Nephew- Brian Simmons – Roanoke.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:00 A.M. , October 15, 2014 at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Dennis Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in the Alleghany Memorial Park, Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. – Covington, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday. 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. evening at the Bower Funeral Home – Pulaski.
