Sarver, Nellie C.

Nellie C. Sarver, 88, of Pulaski, Va., went home to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, March 15, 2009, in the Pulaski Health & Rehab Center, Pulaski. She is now dancing on streets of gold.

Mrs. Sarver was born in Lynchburg, Va. on July 10, 1920, and was the daughter of the late Curl Richardson and Bertha Thompson Richardson. She was preceded in death by spouses, Virgil Gibson, Anton Martin, Robert Edwards, Wes Curry and William Sarver; and by a son, Anton Dale “Tony” Martin.

Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Gypsy and Douglas Brunk, Hampstead, N.C., Randy (Cookie) and George Sadler, Pulaski, Va.; five beloved grandchildren; six beloved great-grandchildren; daughtersin-love, Patsy Martin, Pulaski, Va., Sharon Curry, Dublin, Va.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at 2 p.m., from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Kerry St.John and the Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. Burial will follow in Thornspring Cemetery, Pualski County. Visiting will be Wednesday at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour.
