Sarver, Juanita Lorene Mustard

Juanita Lorene Mustard Sarver, 81, of the Bearspring Community, Pearisburg, Va., went to be with the Lord at her home after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, July 27, 2010. She was born on October 3, 1928 at Berton, Va., the daughter of the late Leonard C. and Margaret Kirk Mustard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Creed Edward Sarver. She was a member of the Bearspring United Methodist Church, was a Sunday School Teacher and Treasurer of the Building Fund. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Rita S. and Jerry Palmer, of Pearisburg; three sons and daughters-in-law, Edward (Eddie) and Bonnie Sarver, of Bearspring, Terry and Barbara Sarver, of Bearspring, and Clifford and Kim Sarver, of Pearisburg; nine grandchildren, Taska P. Mendez, Tricia P. King, Troy Sarver, Tammy S. Thomas, Travis Sarver, Tessa S. Wilson, Tanya S. Clemons, Lynnsey Sarver, and Matthew Sarver; 10 great-grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; two stepgreat-grandchildren; one sister, Clara M. Garrison, of Chester, Va.; and one nephew, G. David Garrison. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2010, at the Bearspring United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kim Goddard and the Rev. Paula Campbell officiating. Burial will be held in the Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg. The visitation will be at the A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate on Thursday, July 29, 2010, after 1 p.m.. and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the Bearspring U.M.C. Building Fund.
