Sarver, Curtis Lemnel

Curtis Lemnel Sarver, 71, of Newport, departed this life Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Born in Maybrook on March 6, 1941, he was a son of the late Prentice L. and Virginia Carbaugh Sarver. He was a carpenter by trade. A brother Howard “Tuck” Sarver preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Shirley Price Sarver; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Patricia Sarver, of Newport; a daughter and son-in-law, Veronica Sarver and Timothy Rexrode, of Roanoke; a sister, Beatrice S. Hypes, of Blacksburg; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2012, in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke, with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
