Sartin, Mary Katherine Woolwine

Mary Katherine Woolwine Sartin, 86, of Christiansburg, entered into eternal rest and a little more sparkle was added to heaven as the angels celebrated the coming home on Monday, July 4, 2011, at Heritage Hall Health Care. She was born in Montgomery County on July 4, 1925, to the late Edgar and Florence Richardson Woolwine. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Sartin; many brothers and a sister; and sweet granddaughter, Lexie Stump. She is survived by her devoted daughter and sonin-law, Mary (Janie) and Roger Hinkley, of Christiansburg; son, Oscar S. Jarrell, of Vinton; daughter, Margaret Ann Carper, of Radford; seven grandchildren; and 15 greatgrandchildren. We wish to thank the many nurses and aides at Heritage Hall for the care they gave our loved one. Thanks to Southern Care Hospice, T. Michael Bond, Pastor New Hope Church, McCoy Funeral Home, and the many friends for their prayers. Funeral Services will be conducted at noon on Saturday, July 9, 2011, in the New Hope Church of God with the Rev. T. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday before the service at the New Hope Church of God, 1404 Mud Pike, Christiansburg, Va.
