Sartin, James E.

James E. Sartin, age 52, of Christiansburg died, Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Lewis Gale Hospital- Montgomery. He was born in Roanoke, Virginia on May 2, 1962. He was preceded in death by his father James A. Sartin. He was also preceded in death by the Rev. Jim Sutphin who led him to the Lord and baptized him.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Sartin, mother, Charlotte Morris Sartin, daughters, Crystal Sartin, Ashley Sartin, grandchildren, Mya Sartin and Kylee Sartin, sisters, Debbie and William Tawney, Barbara Sartin Thompson, Lisa and Carlos Akers, Rhonda and Darrell Jones, brother, Cleatis Sartin, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, Va. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Monday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
