Santolla, Angelo Basil

Angelo Basil Santolla, 82 of Johnson City, TN went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Veterans Hospital in Johnson City, TN. Mr. Santolla was born on March 5, 1936 in Virginia and was a son of the late Ralph and Blanche Nora Kiser Santolla. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ralph D. Santolla and one sister, Juanita S. Lawrence.

Mr. Santolla was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a graduate of the University of North Carolina. He ran a successful accounting and data processing business for many years. He enjoyed fishing, reading and traveling.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Barbara Lynn Gingerich of Johnson City, TN, one daughter, Sue Graham of Roanoke one son, Scott A. Santolla (Ginny) of Roanoke, three grandchildren, one nephew, one sister, Frances Martha Santolla of Johnson City, TN and special lifelong friend, Donnie Britts of Salem.

A celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg at 11:00 am with the Rev. Dr. Fred L. Austin officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at Givens Funeral Home Thursday evening from 5 – 7 pm.
