Sanson, Timothy Lynn

Timothy Lynn Sanson, 50, of Elliston, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 5, 2011. He was a longtime employee of G.J. Hopkins. Timmy loved to hunt and spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Brack Sanson; mother, Frances Ratcliffe; and stepfather, Harry Ratcliffe. Surviving are his wife, Debbie Sanson; daughters, Renee Wells and Brianna Sanson; son, Nathan Sanson; grandson, Damon Scott Wood; mother and father-in-law, James and Norma Wells; brother, Earl Sanson and wife, Shirley; sisters, Linda Adkins and husband, Larry, Juanita Archer and husband, Charles, Tenna Saunders and husband, Buford, Connie Helm and husband, David, and Drema Thompson and husband, Steve; several nieces, nephews and cousins; brothers-in-law, David Wells and wife, Bonnie, and Mike Wells; sister-in-law, Theresa Wells Kimbro and husband, Jeff; special aunt, Donna Ratcliff; and special friend, Mike Manuel. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 7, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend David Jones and the Reverend Wayne Powell officiating.
