Sanders, James E.

James E. “Jay” Sanders, 64 of Pembroke, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021. Jay was born in Giles County on July 2, 1956 to the late Silas and Freda Cumbee Sanders.

Jay is survived by his children, Austin Sanders and companion Haileigh of Pembroke, Melina S. Chapman of Pembroke, Rachel Sanders and companion Joe of Pembroke and Amber Sanders of Pembroke., his grandchildren, Isaiah Chapman, Parker Sadler and Kolton. Jay is also survived by his siblings, Alvin Sanders and wife Patsy of Pembroke, Eugene Sanders and companion Dee Meredith of Pembroke, Patricia Sanders of Radford, and Diane Sanders of Pembroke., special friends, Krista Blankenship and Mathew Blankenship and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Poff officiating. The burial will follow in the Fillinger Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 P.M. until time of services.
