Sage, Juanita Dowdy

Juanita E. Sage, age 90, of Blacksburg, Va. died, Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family. Juanita was born in Montgomery Co., on April 19, 1930 to the late Claude T. and Viola Dowdy. Also preceded in death by Eugene Young, Ed Linkous, Jim Sage and daughter-in-law, Kathy Young.

Our mama and nanny will be remembered forever for her wonderful cooking, beautiful smile, quick wit and all the love that she gave to everyone she met.

Juanita is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Jeanne and Larry Cook, Debra Young, Rosia Young, sons and daughters-in-law, Bud Young, Steve and Ann Young, Ron and Grace Young and Tim Young, eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and caregiver, Evelyn Raines.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
