Safewright Sr., Henry Boyd

(April 03, 1935 – October 25, 2006) Henry Boyd Safewright, Sr., age 71 of Pulaski, slipped into eternal rest with God on Wednesday, October 25, 2006.

Henry was born in Allisonia on April 3, 1935 to the late John and Rena Ayers Safewright. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Miller, Hattie Brown , Helen Gardner, and a brother, Harry Safewright.

He was retired from Lanford Brothers Construction Company with over 30 years of service.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

12 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren whom he deeply loved and a host of nieces, nephews and friends

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 2:00 P.M. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. J. T. Horton officiating. Interment will follow at the Oglesby Cemetery, Wythe County.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at the funeral home. The family will be meeting at the home of Alberta Safewright, 146 Cliff Street, Pulaski.
Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling arrangements for the family.
