Sadler, Sylvia Harris

Sylvia Harris Sadler, 86, of Dublin, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Carilion Giles Community Hospital. She was born on January, 19, 1929 at Thessalia, Va to the late William & Elizabeth Sadler Harris. She was a member of Pathway To Heaven Worship Center.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lewis Sadler and two daughters, Julie Ogle and Lucille Gravely.

Left to cherish her memory are a son & daughter-in-law, Walter David & Ethelene Sadler, her daughters and their significant others, Lona Kay Harrell, Mary Stephens & Larry Dowdy, Gloria Lovern, Clesta & Jimmy Riddle; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Elwood Songer.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Pathway To Heaven Worship Center, Dublin, with the Rev. Winfred Keene officiating. Burial will follow at Sadler Cemetery, Poplar Hill. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Pathway To Heaven Worship Center from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
