Sadler, Larry Wayne

Larry Wayne Sadler, 57, of Rich Creek, went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 20, 2013, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke. He was born in Pearisburg March 20, 1955, and preceded in death by his parents, Paul Caudill and Margaret Gray Farewell Sadler.

Larry was retired from the Giles County School System with 32 years of service. He also worked for Duncan Used Cars for a while.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Nancy Leigh Semones Sadler; his daughter, Stephanie (Vontez) Johnson, of Rich Creek; his son, Stephen (Billie) Sadler, of Phenix City, Ala.; his brother, Joey (Debbie) Sadler, of Pembroke; his sisters, Carolyn Burton, of Pulaski, and Debbie Anderson (Jerry), also of Pulaski; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeremy) Pennington, of Narrows, Amber Lynette Lang, of Rich Creek, Ronnie Paul Lang, of Rich Creek, Lindsey Nicole and William Thomas (Tommy) Sadler, of Phenix City, Ala.; his great-grandchildren, Braxton Lee Pennington, of Narrows, and Shaelynn Marie Wilson, of Rich Creek.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow Street, Pembroke, with burial following in Sunrise Memorial Park in Rich Creek. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
