Sadler, Fredia Jane

Fredia Jane Sadler, 79, of Pulaski, departed this life Thursday afternoon, April 11, 2019 at Skyline Nursing and Rehab Center in Floyd. Born in Pearisburg on June 23, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Carrie Sue Smith Wilson.

She had been employed in furniture production at Pulaski Furniture Company and had attended French’s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church on Little Creek and The Robinson Tract Holiness Church in Pulaski.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Henry Sadler, her brothers Eugene, Junior, and Homer Turpin, her sisters Betty Johnson, Laverne Lafon, Flossie Waldron and Georgine Donathan.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law Ronald Jack and Renee Wilson of Fincastle; her daughters and sons-in-law Barbara and Charlie Sawyers of Wytheville, Vanessa and Fred Jones of Shawsville, Melisa and Ronnie Honaker of Copper Hill; her brother and sister-in-law Donald Edward and Vickie Wilson of Pearisburg; her twelve grandchildren and her twenty great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at 12:00 noon in The Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastor David Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Sadler Family Cemetery on Sadler Mountain at Poplar Hill. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the services.
