Sadler, Arthur

Arthur Sadler, 65, of Newport, Va., departed this life on Tuesday morning, March 23, 2010, at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg. Born in Giles County on June 21, 1944, he was a son of the late George Franklin and Lattie Catherine Sadler. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Catherine Sadler. He attended Frenche’s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church in the Little Creek Section of Dublin. He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers and sisters-inlaw, George and Randi Sadler, of Pulaski, Roger and Violet Sadler, of Pilot, Emory and Vivian Sadler, of Dublin, Randy and Janet Sadler, of Pearisburg, and Allen and Mary Sadler, of Elliston; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Earl Dillon (with whom he made his home), of Newport, Jean and Harold Lucas, of Pembroke, Juanita and David Shrader, of Narrows, and Rhetta and Dale Harmon, of Christiansburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2010, in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastor David Wood of Frenche’s Chapel officiating.
