Rutrough, Julian Hall

Julian Hall Rutrough, 90, of Copper Hill, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011. Mr. Rutrough served three and a half years in the Army Air Corp., with duty in the China-Burma theatre. He returned home to work on the family farm and as a carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Pency Rutrough; daughter, Judy Ann Cox and two brothers Hugh and James Rutrough.

Mr. Rutrough is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eveleen Rutrough; one son, Eddie Rutrough; and two grandchildren, Brian Cox and Kaitlynn Rutrough.

Friends may call between 6 and 8 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 21, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Salem Head of the River Church with the Elder Carl Terry and Elder Larry Hollingsworth officiating. Interment will follow at Restvale Cemetery.
