Rupe, Nettie Edwards

Nettie Edwards Rupe, age 91 of Pulaski passed away Friday, December 4, 2009 at the Pulaski Community Hospital. Born July 5, 1918 in Carroll County, Virginia she the daughter of the late Jasper & Rosie Rigney Edwards.

Her husband; Estel Garfield Rupe, two daughters; Frances Niday, Iris Rupe McGrady, an infant child; Barbara Rupe and seven brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Paul Stephen Rupe officiating.
Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to service time.

A very special “thank you” to the Doctors & Staff of Pulaski Community Hospital for all the kindness and support throughout these difficult times.

The family suggests memorials in her memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
