ROY, Lola Wade

Lola Wade Roy, 87, of Christiansburg, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Dora Wade and sons, Claude and Melvin Roy. Surviving are her grandsons, Bobby Roy, Harrisonburg, Wayne Roy and wife, Janet, Fieldale and Douglas Weddle and wife, Audra, Floyd; her granddaughters, Linda Roy, Roanoke and Crystal Roy, Blacksburg; her brother and sister-in-law, Esker and Reba Wade, Radford; her 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Murray Agee officiating. Interment will follow at Big Sand Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Maberry Funeral Home.
