James Alexander Routszong, 66, of Dublin, went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 8, 2007, from the home of his son, Stephen James Routszong in Gastonia, N.C.

James was a faithful minister of the gospel. He pastored churches in Missouri, Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia. He had an abiding interest in Christian education and was a founding board member of Westminster Christian Academy in St. Louis, Mo.

Memorial Service will be 4 p.m. Sunday, January 14, 2007, at Draper Valley Presbyterian Church, 2755 Old Baltimore Road, Draper, with the Rev. Ken Pierce officiating.

He is survived by his widow, Barbara Ann; sons, Stephen and his wife Rosemary and granddaughters Kathleen and Hope of Gastonia, and Philip and his wife Jennifer of Havelock, N.C.; daughter, Dawn and her husband Warren Perkins of New Bern; and brother, Alex Routszong and his wife Sandra of Piggott, Ark.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the PCA Ministerial Relief Fund, 1700 North Brown Road, Suite 106, Lawrenceville, Ga. 30034.
