Irene Hall Roseberry, 87, of Pulaski, Va., died on Monday evening, March 1, 2010, in the Pulaski Community Hospital. She was born in Pulaski County on June 14, 1922, and was the daughter of the late Ezra D. Hall and Mollie Altizer Hall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Alexander Roseberry Jr.; and by two brothers, Cecil E. Hall and Marvin E. Hall.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Carl Kemp, of Draper; son and daughter-inlaw, Calvin A. “Sonny” Roseberry III and Suzanne Roseberry, of Groveland, Fla.; sister, Kathleen Ratcliffe, of Pulaski; four granddaughters and a spouse, Carla K. and Scott Abshire, of Kingsport, Tenn., Meg Rice, of Kingsport, Tenn., Dr. Chaffin Roseberry, of Groveton, Ga., and Elizabeth Bakkal, of Groveton, Ga.; two great-grandchildren, Madison Rice, of Kingsport, Tenn., and Audrey Willis, of Groveton, Ga.

Mrs. Roseberry will be cremated. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2010, from Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Howlett and the Rev. Dwight Haynes officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until the service hour. Burial will follow at a later date from Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
