Roseberry, Gerald G.
Gerald G. Roseberry, 90, of Dublin (Mt. View Community), died Saturday morning February 17, 2007 in Pulaski Community Hospital. He was born November 18, 1916 in Pulaski County and was the son of the late Bertha Farmer Roseberry and William M. Roseberry.
He was a long-time member of the Mt. View United Methodist Church, where he served in many capacities especially as collection usher and ringer of the church bells. He was also a retired employee store supervisor for APCO, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served in W.W.II. in the 45th Division from 1941 to 1945, and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1184 in Pulaski.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Elizabeth Roseberry, Berlyn Myra Roseberry and Gladys Bratton, brothers, Clifton and Emory Roseberry. He is survived by one brother, Ellis Roseberry and his wife Barbara; a brother-in-law, Lee D. Bratton, all of Dublin. Also surviving are two nieces and six nephews and many other loving friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday February 19, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons with the Rev. Bill Schoeneman officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery. Visiting will be at the funeral home Sunday anytime after 12 noon, where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.
