Roland Wayne Roop, 43, formerly of Christiansburg, Va. passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack B. Roop. He is survived by his mother, Virginia H. Roop; his loving wife, Meridith Trammell Roop; daughters, Meribella and Ava Kay; and son, Jack Douglas. Also surviving are his father and mother-in-law, Robert and Kay Trammell. Funeral services were held on Friday, April 23, 2010 in Tallahassee, Fla. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Christiansburg Church of The Brethren with Pastor Don Peters officiating.
