Roop, Michael Allen

Michael Allen Roop, age 51 of Pulaski passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012 at his home. Born January 4, 1961 in Galax, he was the son of the late Curtis Roop & Dorothy Hoffman Roop. His grandparents; Wiley & Elsie Roop and brother; John Jeffery Roop also preceded him in death.

Michael was an employee of Volvo Trucking with over 25 years of service.

He is survived by his Wife- Lori Ann Roop – Pulaski. Son & Daughter-in-law- Franklin & Sharon Roop – Galax. Daughter & Son-in-law- Charly & David Frost –Charleston, SC., Step-Son- Cody Seagle & Haley Lawson – Pulaski. Grandchildren- Addison Roop and Reagan Frost, Brother & Sister-in-law- David & Cindia Roop – Fries, VA,

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 24, 2012 in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Fries, Virginia with Rev. David Hoover and Roger Blevins officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
