Roop, Lisa Linkous

Lisa Linkous Roop, 51, of Christiansburg, Va., died on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at her home. She was born on June 21, 1963, to the late Donald Walton and Bonnie Sue Duncan Linkous. She was very active in the Auburn High School Community.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Roop; sons, Timmy Linkous and fiancée, Jessica Griffin, Brady Roop and Elisha Spence; grandchildren, Easton Blake Linkous, Riley Spence, Natalie Hughes; sister, Tammy Lytton; brother, Donald Linkous; nieces, Krystal Lytton and fiance, Chad Collins, Breyana Lytton; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bobby and Bernice Roop; sisters-in-law, Robyn Spinaci, Barbara Freeman; brother-in-law, Wilbur Oldham; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, February 9, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Jerry Hylton officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106-A, Roanoke, VA 24018.
