Roop, Della Marie

Della Marie Roop, 88, of Radford, passed away February 15, 2012. She was born Della Marie Hicks March 29, 1923, in Jasper, Tenn., to Daniel H. Hicks and Malinda Reynolds Hicks.

Marie was preceded in death by her son, Michael Roop, of Chicago; her husband of 55 years, Raymond Roop; and her daughter, Linda Roop Hicks, of St. Augustine, Fla.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Pat Roop, of Cardington, Ohio.

The family expresses unending thanks to Marie’s close friends who cared for her.
