Rolen, Dorothy Price

Dorothy “Peggy” Marie Rolen, 89 of Ripplemead, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at her home. Dorothy was born on February 19, 1932 in Saltville, Virginia to the late James Bruce and Corena Dowell Price.

Along with her parents Mrs. Rolen is preceded in death by her husband, Bennie F. Rolen and a brothers, Donald Vernon Price and James “Buddy” Price.

Mrs. Rolen is Survived by her children, Gloria Jean Hale and husband, Jerry of Harrisonburg, VA. And Brenda Darlene Williams and husband, Willard “Skip” also of Harrisonburg. She is survived by her grandchildren, Travis Scott Williams and Jerry Ryan Hale, her great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Jude and Jonah Williams. She is also survived by her siblings, Charles Kenneth Price of Roanoke and Carole Ann Price of Harrisonburg.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the Mt. Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, Virginia with Pastor Eddie Kendall Officiating. The Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 22,2021 at The Kendall Funeral Home from 5-7 P.M.
