Rogol, Hyman Chuck
Hyman “Chuck” Rogol passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, at the age of 93. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Bert—the love of his life. Their bond was one of deep devotion, and the thought of them together again brings great comfort to those who loved him.
Chuck is survived by his six children, each of whom he loved deeply: David Rogol and his wife Sandra; Dana Rogol; Stephanie Rogol; Leslie Paradiso and her husband Joseph; Jonathan Rogol and his fiancée Mily Monroy; and Robert Rogol.
He was a proud grandfather to Shawn Rogol, Brent Rogol, Alana Rogol, Christina Paradiso, Matthew Paradiso, Ryan Paradiso, Caitlyn Rogol, and Paige Rogol. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Peyton, Skyler, Juliette, Remi Rogol and Liv and Stella Moses
Chuck raised his family in Jericho, New York, before moving to Boca Raton, Florida, in 1979. He later made his home in Blacksburg, Virginia, and eventually settled in Daleville, where he found joy in a welcoming community during his later years.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, friendly spirit, and sincere desire to help others. Though he often described himself as an introvert, he had a remarkable gift for connecting with people. He was a great listener, always ready with thoughtful advice, and never hesitated to lend a hand.
Chuck’s family and friends will forever cherish the wisdom he shared, the warmth he brought into every room, and the quiet strength he carried through life. His presence will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
A funeral service will be held in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg, VA, on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. prior to the service.
Following the service, a Celebration of Life will take place at Tizzone Restaurant, 90 Town Center Street, Daleville, at 6:00 P.M. All who knew and loved Chuck are welcome to join in remembering his life.
