Stanford Jack Rogers, 87, of Pulaski, was taken away by angels on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, and reunited with our mother in Heaven. He was a man lead by his faith in God who loved all his family unconditionally. Church and community was important to him. Helping those in need was a part of who he was. He also was a 50 year member of the Miles Masonic Lodge No. 165. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 and ½ years, Sylvia Inez Rogers; his parents, Sarah and Rufus Rogers; sister, Edith; and brothers, Chester, Harold, and Charles Rogers.

Three children are left to cherish his wonderful memory, Sylvia Jean Roberts, of Pulaski, Donald Jack Rogers, of Richmond, and William Keith Rogers and wife, Mary, currently residing in Arizona. He leaves behind four grandchildren, Paul R. Roberts, of Pulaski, Robbie Rogers and wife, Pamela, of Richmond, Cindy Walls and husband, Steve, of Arizona, and Heather Moore and husband, Jeffrey, of Richmond. He is survived by nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Aaron Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visitation will be held on Saturday at Stevens Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until the service hour.
