Rogers, Margaret Ellen Haga

Margaret Ellen Haga Rogers, 72, of 4858 Miller Ridge Road, Dublin, Va., died early Thursday morning, July 29, 2010, at her home. She was born in Wythe County, Va., on December 12, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Elsie Hughes Haga. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Leon Haga; by a sister, Ruth H. Collins; and by a sister-in-law, Doris Haga. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Robert “Bob” Rogers, of Dublin; sister, Barbara Smith, of Pulaski; brothers, Carl Haga, of Blacksburg, and Buford Haga, of Pulaski; and brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Bonnie Haga, of Salem. Ms. Rogers will be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2010, from Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church, 4008 Robinson Tract Road, Pulaski, Va. 24301.
