Robinson, Larry Darnell

Larry Darnell Robinson, 61, of Hampton and Shawsville, entered into eternal sleep on Saturday September 14, 2013. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; Charlie and Ora Robinson. He was born in Radford September 22, 1951 and lived in Shawsville. He was educated in Montgomery county. He was baptized at a very early age at Shawsville Baptist Church, and became a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Hampton, VA in 2011.He was honorably discharged after his service in the US Army. Left to cherish his memory is his wife; Kim Robinson, son; Christopher Claxton, stepsons; Joseph , Raymond and Ocie, sister; Mary Ann Robinson Battle Knox (Clifford), brother; David Robinson (Andrea) and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church, Elliston at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2013, with the Rev. Kenneth B. Wright officiating.
