Robertson, Virginia Clark

Virginia Clark Robertson, 87 of the Lurich community near Narrows, passed away Thursday, February 6th, 2014 at Heritage Hall-Rich Creek Nursing Home. She was born in Pulaski County on July 11th, 1926, and was the daughter of the late William Riley and Ada Anna Robertson Clark.

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Henry Dexter Robertson; and twelve brothers and sisters.

Virginia was a retired employee of Celanese Acetate in Narrows and a longtime faithful member of Glen Lyn Church of Christ. A loving wife and mother, she will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

Left to cherish her memory are a son, Thomas Robertson of Narrows; a daughter Linda Robertson of Narrows; a sister, Charlene Clark of Narrows; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and a special sister-in-law, Blanche French of Rich Creek.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 8th, 2014 at 12 noon in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows with Larry Johnson, Minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Narrows. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Chapel Saturday from 10 AM until just prior to the service.
