Robertson, Steven Charles

Steven Charles Robertson Jr., 16, of Shawsville, Va., passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Diane Bell, of Salem; paternal great-grandmother; and paternal uncle, William Bell. He is survived by his mother, Leslie Graham Robertson, of Shawsville; father, Steven Charles Robertson, of Roanoke; his brother, Michael Graham; sister, Amber Robertson, of Shawsville; maternal grandparents, Marvin and Rebecca Graham Jr., of Christiansburg; maternal great-grandmother, Reba P. Worrell, of Christiansburg; paternal grandfather, Herman Robertson, of Roanoke; and paternal great-grandmother, Myrtle Cunningham, of Salem. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, friends and church family, as well as his special pet, Angel. Steven was a member of the junior class of Eastmont High School. He was an honor student in the top 10 of his class, artistic and a self taught musician. He was an active member of the youth group at Seneca Baptist Church in Elliston and was a member of the Young Life group. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 17, 2011, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be conducted 2 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2011, from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Pastor John Collins officiating.
