Robertson, Jr., David Wayne

David Wayne Robertson, Jr, 49 of Pearisburg, VA departed this life suddenly August 16, 2022 under the care of his loving family and Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born in Wilmington, Delaware on August 29, 1972, he was a son of David Lee Robertson and Bridget Hogan Robertson.

David had worked in construction. He always enjoyed tinkering whether in carpentry, vehicles, or concrete work.

David is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Anthony Robertson.

Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are his parents, David and Bridgett Robertson; fiancée, Darlene Robertson of Pearisburg; sons, Dakota Cumbee of Pembroke, Devin Robertson of Pembroke, and David Shane Robertson of Pembroke; a step-son, Chris Collins; grandchildren, Stella Grace Collins, Christopher Scott Collins (Laura), Easton Wayne Collins, and Amelia Collins; and a nephew, Alex Robertson.

A graveside service will be conducted, Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Mountain Filed Road Cemetery near the family home. Family will receive friends at Kendall Funeral Home on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A guestbook is available by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com.
