Robertson, Betty Pearl

Betty Pearl Robertson, 67, of Arch Eaton Road near Pearisburg, departed this life Sunday morning, September 23, 2007 at home in the loving care of her family. Born in Staffordsville on March 28, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Edgar M. and Katherine Stafford.

Betty was retired from Celanese Celco Plant at Narrows and attended Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard L. Robertson and a son, Mitchell L. Robertson. She leaves to cherish her memory a son and his wife, Gregory L. and Betty Ann Robertson of Pearisburg; a daughter-in-law, Robbie Henderson Robertson of Pearisburg; a sister, Freda Matthews of Pearisburg; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday evening, September 25, 2007 at 8 p.m. in The Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. before the services.
