Roberts, Kyle Daniel (Danny)

Kyle Daniel (Danny) Roberts, 52, of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2012, after a heroic battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Roberts; brother, Jerry Roberts; and a niece, Missy Alls. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Tammy Roberts; three daughters, Carrie, Amanda and Danielle; grandchildren Daniel, Cloey and Dylan, and one on the way, Ethan Kyle; his father, James Roberts and wife, Exer; brothers and sisters, Donah, Diane, Norma, Larry and Timmy; as well as several nieces and nephews. Danny was a loving husband, father and grandfather. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 2, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations would be made to Horne Funeral Service to help offset expenses.
