Marvis Hubert Roberson, 85, of Floyd, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Lee and Vada Elsie Roberson; wife, Edna Marie Roberson; and brother, Calvin Lee Roberson.He is survived by children, Sharon L. Roberson, W. Carline Alvis, Sheila G. Kirtner, Randy H. Roberson, Bruce A. Roberson; brother, G. Hansel Roberson; sister, Reva Morrow; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2011, at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joseph Womack officiating. Interment to follow in the Lee Cemetery (615). The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2011, at the funeral home.
